John,
Our representatives (well, some of them) are holding the president accountable today. But as the world watches the U.S. House floor, we’re watching the North Carolina House and Senate floors.
Our General Assembly started the long session today. Members were sworn in and leaders elected. Now the hard work of crafting a budget and state policy begin.
With threats to our health, climate, economy, and democracy raging, we need all hands on deck.
That’s where you come in. Our work is made possible through the strength of members like John xxxxxx. Renew your membership today » [link removed]
I have two pieces of good news:
Because of the heightened urgency of the times we’re living in, a generous donor has stepped up to match all membership renewal gifts between now and Friday at midnight! That’s our deadline to assess where we stand to start this new year.
We need to close a $1,156 gap by then to feel good about our ability to carry out our plans for the year. Here’s the second piece of good news: if we hit that goal, this donor will double-match your gifts. That means $1,156 turns into $3,468.
And your gift of $50 or $34 turns into $150 or $102. Click here to activate the double match, John » [link removed]
Thanks for rushing your renewed commitment to the cause!
