Today, Barbara and her colleagues will vote to impeach Donald Trump for a second time. But the House vote is only the first step. The Senate must convict.

Trump, along with his Republican enablers in Congress, have repeatedly broken their sacred Oath of office — but encouraging a mob of racist extremists to attempt a violent coup putting members of Congress lives in danger and resulting in five deaths is and should be the final straw.

We cannot let this moment pass or let Trump’s insurrection go. The only way to truly unify our country and protect our democracy is to hold him accountable.
