Friend, children’s rights deserve protection across the world and here at home. The past year has shown how challenges like racial injustice, public health inequities and limited access to developmental opportunities cause children to suffer and can limit their potential. Local governments play a key role in realizing change for children and families facing these issues and many more. We need cities to put the well-being of children first by developing solutions to advance their rights for the better.
Through CFCI, UNICEF is working with cities across America to do just that. In CFCI partner cities like Minneapolis and San Francisco, we’re analyzing local efforts and conditions for child well-being to implement plans for action, shaped by and for children.
