As Stacey Abrams said at a recent rally: “Revenge can be very cathartic.”
And she must surely be enjoying her relief now that Rev. Raphael Warnock -- who she recruited to take on the corrupt Sen. Loeffler -- has won his election.
But the attacks on her integrity will continue to echo this cycle and the next, like when Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger recently penned an op-ed for The Wall Street Journal with the headline “Trump Runs the Stacey Abrams Playbook.”
Yes, it's about as bad as you'd expect. Raffensperger writes, “After four years of relentless attacks on the integrity of elections by the most significant mainstream media outlets and pundits, it should come as no surprise that Americans have trouble believing the results of even the most secure elections.”
It's a blatant smearing of Stacey Abrams and all the good work she did to register hundreds of thousands of Georgia voters -- and it's just further evidence of how scared the GOP is of Stacey Abrams and her impact on shaping the country. And with so much at stake, they won't relent on dragging her name through the mud.
We can celebrate our successes, but there's still so much work to be done to ensure that Stacey Abrams' incredible work builds even more momentum. We need to know EXACTLY the number of supporters who will be joining us, so please, tell us now:
