Friend --

Tod‌ay, my colleagues in the House will vote on whether or not to hold President
Trump accountable for inciting violence against every member of Congress last
week.

I'm thinking about Republican members of the House. They have a choice to make:
Will they vote to impeach President Trump and send a clear message to the
American people that they stand on the side of democracy, peaceful transfer of
power, and accountability? Or will they vote to stand by Donald Trump, who put
their lives -- and the lives of countless staff and law enforcement -- in danger
and who presents an immediate threat to our nation?

Tod‌ay, Congress can send a resounding message to all Americans and our allies
and adversaries abroad that our democracy is strong and resilient. I hope my
Republican colleagues will join us in defending our democracy.

Share your words of support today: Add your name (and a message, if you wish)
to tell Republican members of the House to vote to impeach Donald Trump and to
uphold our democracy.
