As we begin the new year with a renewed sense of hope, it is imperative that we immediately continue to center racial justice work collectively. In 2020 we learned that whether our trainings were in-person or were held virtually, there is overwhelming energy to transform systems and institutions. That’s why Race Forward is proud to announce our upcoming schedule for our 2021 Building Racial Equity (BRE) and Organizing Racial Equity: Shifting Power (ORE) trainings. 

The Building Racial Equity series, developed by Race Forward, are interactive trainings for those who wish to challenge and change institutional racial inequities. This training will introduce participants to concepts, frames, and tools essential to a productive racial equity practice. Participants will build on and strengthen racial equity practices for themselves, their organization, and their networks.

Space for each virtual training is limited in order to ensure a high level of engagement, coaching and support from our team of expert facilitators.

Organizing Racial Equity: Shifting Power is the second training of the series. Participants will build on and strengthen racial equity practices for themselves and their organizations and networks. This training will strengthen participants' collective analysis of power while providing useful tools and framework to shift power within groups, institutions and other formations seeking to advance racial justice in this time.
