Shocking no one, Mike Pence failed to meet the moment and refused to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove Trump from office for his role in last week’s violence. But that won’t slow us down. Today, I’ll be voting to impeach President Trump once again.
While today the focus is on Trump, our work doesn’t end with him. There are still dozens of sitting Senators and Representatives who must be held accountable for their actions. While insurrectionists like Mo Brooks and Josh Hawley invited attacks from the outside, maskless colleagues like QAnon conspiracy theorist Marjorie Taylor Greene posed a threat from within — with multiple Democrats testing positive for COVID-19 after being forced to shelter in close quarters.
