If we want to send an unmistakable message that Trump and the Republicans who incited this violence should be held accountable, we need even more members on board.

And we can't stop with impeachment — we must go further by demanding that Members of Congress who attempted to prevent the certification of lawful election results are expelled and that the security response on January 6 is thoroughly investigated.

Hello, my name is ____, and I’m a constituent of [Congressperson] calling with the Working Families Party in regards to the recent attack on the US Capitol.

I believe that we cannot allow the Republican politicians who stoked this violence to evade responsibility. I am asking that [Congressperson] immediately takes action by doing the following three things:

1. Support the pending Articles of Impeachment against Trump sponsored by Rep. Ilhan Omar, Rep. Ayanna Pressley, Rep. Rashida Tlaib, and others.

2. Support Rep. Cori Bush's resolution to expel Members of Congress who attempted to prevent the certification of lawful election results.

3. Demand a full investigation into the security response on January 6th, which failed to prevent white nationalist insurrectionists from entering the Capitol and terrorizing the people inside, and which stood in stark contrast to the brutal treatment of Black Lives Matter protesters earlier this year. And stand against efforts to expand the Capitol police and security state in response.
