This is an urgent call for help. Major lease sales opening the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to drilling have just occurred.

In South Dakota, a massive uranium mine — one that would require injecting water underground to dissolve the uranium before pumping the solution to the surface — is barreling forward.

In Utah, Trump is preparing final approval to drill for helium in national wilderness. In Nevada, he's preparing to green-light an open-pit lithium mine.

In Arizona, he's preparing to take land from the San Carlos Apache Tribe to build one of the country's largest copper mines.

On the East and West coasts, dangerous offshore drilling proposals are reportedly being rushed.

Stalling these efforts, even for a couple weeks, means the Biden administration can reverse course. But everything depends on the next few days. Many of these actions are binding once finalized.
