Friend,
Here at Hunger Free America, we believe in empowering every community member to advocate for the anti-hunger solutions THEY need. This philosophy has been made a reality through our Food Action Board (FAB) program, which is composed of individuals with lived experiences of poverty and hunger who are now working as advocates on their own behalf.
In 485 counties across the United States, 20% or more of the population have been living below the poverty line for the last 30 years. These counties and communities are as diverse as our great nation: Appalachian communities in Kentucky and North Carolina, Native American communities in South Dakota and Alaska, Latino communities in Arizona and New Mexico, and African American communities in Mississippi and South Carolina.
We’re looking to raise $2500 by MIDNIGHT. Can you contribute $20 to increase participation in our Food Action Board program today? ([link removed])

Our Food Action Board began in our hometown of New York City, and we’re looking to bring this powerful model to other cities across the country. The FAB program empowers community members to fight for their own futures and build the anti-hunger movement by helping them develop their leadership, advocacy, and community organizing skills. FAB Members then take on key positions and leadership roles in efforts at the city, state, and federal levels aimed at promoting food security and economic opportunity.
With a gift of just $20 - we’re able to amplify one more community member’s voice. Can you contribute with a gift of $20 to help hit our $2500 goal by midnight? ([link removed])
Thanks,
Joel Berg, CEO
