Thinking of you and the entire Project HOPE community
Dear Friend,
Many of us in the Project HOPE community are still processing after witnessing the violence and unrest in the U.S. capital last week. You and your families have been on my mind as we all have faced the stress of recent events.
We know that as the news changes by the hour, the uncertainty and anxiety can take a real toll on our mental and physical health. The constant stream of news and opinions from papers, emails, social media and television can be incredibly overwhelming. In this historic moment, I hope that you, like me, can find strength in the bonds of our worldwide Project HOPE community, and our shared humanitarian values.
Please know that we remain unwavering in our mission to save lives wherever the need is greatest, no matter how complex or fast-moving our world is because of politics or the ongoing pandemic. As we process all that is happening in Washington D.C. and around the world, we are reaffirming our commitment to healing people with compassionate care and empowering health workers with the tools to heal their own communities.
In the same spirit, please remember to take care of yourselves, your families, friends and neighbors.
I wish you and your loved ones the very best in the days ahead as we put this behind us and emerge stronger in 2021. Please stay safe and prioritize health. With your support, we’ll be fighting to save lives from COVID-19 and other health crises. Thank you for your invaluable partnership. |
