The insurrection by pro-Trump extremists at the U.S. Capitol building last week took many by surprise, but for those who study the far right and the dangerous rhetoric of President Trump – it was a long time coming.
White supremacists, far-right apologists, President Trump, and his enablers in Congress are among the many topics that will be explored during the briefing, where members will hear from our experts on how this movement has been growing throughout the Trump presidency and long before it.
Members will also have the opportunity to learn about how they can engage in local and national efforts to hold people involved in the insurrection accountable, including the immediate removal of President Trump from office.
