Hi John
As expected, Rep. Schweikert doesn't have anything of substance to say about the new allegations facing President Trump. He has no concern for the sanctity of our elections, our national security, and our democracy.
Instead, our absent congressman, who is currently under an ethics and campaign finance investigation of his own, is holding the party line and pointing fingers.
This was his statement to the local media yesterday:

Real representation requires courage, not deflection.
This isn’t about left or right. It’s about ending corruption, standing up for justice and protecting our democracy.
And let's remember, the House has indeed passed a number of bills despite Rep. Schweikert and his colleagues.
These include the Equality Act and the Bipartisan Background Checks Act of 2019. Schweikert voted NO on both.
We aren't waiting on Democrats to act for progress, we've been waiting on Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.
It's time our elected representatives stop positioning for the sake of an upcoming election. It is time they get to work for the American people and stand up to protect our Constitution.
And as the impeachment inquiry begins, we must all stay focused on the vision for a better America. United, not divided.
In solidarity, -Anita
