John,

One week ago, Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock beat their opponents and to
become the next U.S. Senators from Georgia.

This was a historical election in many ways. Voter turnout was at an
all-time high, especially amongst Black and Latino communities. Grassroots
organizations like the New Georgia Project, Fair Fight, Mijente, and
Asians for Ossoff & Warnock knocked on countless doors and called millions
of voters across the state. Leaders like Stacey Abrams put in years of
hard work to build a strong base to make a win like this happen.

When sworn in, Jon Ossoff will become one of the youngest Senators in U.S.
history, and Raphael Warnock will become the first Black Senator elected
from Georgia and the first Black Democratic Senator elected in the South.

And for the first time in over a decade, Democrats will control the House,
Senate, and White House. Mitch McConnell's Senate majority will finally
come to an end.

John, our victory
in Georgia is a sign that the tide is turning all across the country—even
in the South, where wins like this were previously thought to be
impossible. It's the result of Democrats at every level working together.
