  [2]Dream Corps
John,

Last week, the nation watched in horror as hundreds stormed the Capitol Building to overturn the results of our free and fair presidential election. While many from both sides have been clamoring with their analyses, including hot takes and jabs at their political opponents, one key thing has been left out of the conversation:

We are many; they are few.

The people who rushed the Capitol hold vehement grievances and may appear scary to outside observers, but we must not forget that those of us fighting for justice, peace, and prosperity vastly outnumber the people looking to subvert those ideals in America.

To that end, Dream Corps would love to invite you to a gathering this Thursday at 7pm Eastern/4pm Pacific meant to inspire, uplift and build community with others who share those key values.

Dream Corps Arts and Culture Organizer, Tem Blessed will be joined by Sikh activist, civil rights attorney, and Revolutionary Love Project founder, Valarie Kaur for our final Dream Circle. We’ll discuss the upcoming People’s Inauguration that Valarie is hosting on the 21st, and what lessons we can derive from her book released last summer, See No Stranger: A Memoir and Manifesto of Revolutionary Love for our nation post-Trump presidency: [link removed]

If you haven’t had a chance to join us yet, Dream Circles have been a space for us to come together, share wisdom about how we can reimagine our world, and refine our mindfulness tools for when things get tough.

Valarie, Tem, and our Dream Circles community members share the kind of perspective earned through decades on this earth marked by struggle, tenacity, and resilience. We are eager to have you join us and offer your own insight.

We hope to see you on our final Dream Circle this Thursday at 7pm Eastern/4pm Pacific – one week before the #PeoplesInauguration on January 21st!

In solidarity,

— The Dream Corps team

P.S. Looking for support and community in 2021? Want to connect with hundreds of others like you, who want to see real change in the world? Sign up for our members’ Slack space, where we share exciting opportunities, network with organizers and advocates, and build rapport with one another:[link removed]
