Yesterday, the House released its article of impeachment, accusing Donald Trump of inciting insurrection. With more than 200 co-sponsors, the resolution is likely to pass, making Trump the only president impeached twice in our country’s history. Even if the Senate convicts and Trump can no longer hold office––which is by no means certain––Trumpism is likely to endure.

That’s because Trump’s enablers remain scattered throughout our governments, from the U.S. House and Senate to state and local offices across the country. To truly eradicate Trumpism, we need to challenge and defeat these representatives, senators, assemblymembers, governors, mayors, city councilors, and more.

Here at Fight for Progress, we’re dedicating our time and effort to holding Trump’s enablers accountable. We plan to work tirelessly until every Trumpist is out of office. We know it won’t be easy, but we’re in it for the long haul.
