Join us for a physically-distanced coalition rally and press conference at the State Capitol where we will ask our elected officials to support a moratorium on the construction of new factory farms and slaughterhouses in California! The evidence is clear, factory farms and slaughterhouses have devastating impacts on the planet, the animals, and the public. Instead of addressing this issue, our state has directly funded the expansion of big ag in California and is continuing to support this terrible industry. That is why TODAY at our January Day of Action: Together Against Factory Farming, we are coming together from a wide array of backgrounds and movements to support our vision of a California with #NoMoreFactoryFarms. We are meeting today, January 12th at 11 AM, at Capitol Mall & 9th St in Sacramento, CA 95814.

Wednesday, January 13th, 5:30 PM: Community Discussion on Spirituality - A new year has come! 2020 was a difficult year for us all with COVID. With the shelter in place, certain formal layers have been shed and are in a state we don't normally feel. We will be having another general discussion around spirituality to ring in the new year. We'll be meditating for the first 20 minutes, reading a passage, and then having an open discussion about what we want for the new year. Saturday, January 16th, 11 AM: Meetup: What's Next for the Right to Rescue - Join us at this Meetup to learn more about our legal campaigns of 2021! In this Meetup we will hear news updates from the community and then Wayne will be speaking about the prelims, as well as Cheyanne's trial and Matt's trial in Iowa!
