John,
This is BIG. Right now, the House Judiciary Committee is holding a hearing on an assault weapons ban. It’s the first hearing on the topic since the federal ban expired 15 years ago.
This is our chance to grow support to reinstate this life-saving legislation. Right after the hearing, Brady is hosting a rally in Washington, D.C., to make sure our representatives do everything they can to end gun violence and keep us safe.
Can you rush a donation before the hearing ends to support Brady’s fight to ban assault weapons and end gun violence? [[link removed]]

This hearing is a great first step towards banning assault weapons. But we can’t let it end here. If the bill to ban assault weapons moves forward, the entire House of Representatives and Senate will need to sign off on it before it becomes law.
Too many innocent people have died for us to continue to ignore our country’s gun violence epidemic . We’re going to rally on Capitol Hill today. We’re going to make our voices heard! And we won’t let up until common-sense gun safety legislation is made law.
John, we need to keep fighting until assault weapons are off of our streets. This is a movement, and we need you on board. Can you chip in now to support our work? [[link removed]]
