Last week’s attack on the Capitol was a direct result of Donald Trump’s words and actions that drove his supporters to violence. His continuous effort to undermine our democracy and spread conspiracy theories about the election is causing serious damage. He must be held accountable.

House Democrats have just put forth Articles of Impeachment of the president, charging Trump with “incitement of an insurrection” for his behavior.

“President Trump gravely endangered the security of the United States and its institutions of Government," the impeachment resolution states. "He threatened the integrity of the democratic system, interfered with the peaceful transition of power, and imperiled a coequal branch of Government."

Every Virginia Democrat in Congress has called for the president’s removal. Let’s show them that Virginians agree. Will you sign our petition to support impeaching Donald Trump?
