[1]Women's March
John,
Did you know that shaping our culture and politics online can be as easy
as having conversations one-on-one on social media?
Women's March trained over 1,200 activists in 2020 to do exactly that
through our Digital Defenders program, combatting disinformation about the
election, COVID-19, climate and immigration. We’re kicking off 2021 with a
new addition to our training series: changing the conversation about
abortion online.
Each of us should be free to live our lives with dignity and to make the
decisions that are best for our lives, families and communities.
Unfortunately, hateful rhetoric about abortion is rampant on the internet
and poses dangerous barriers for us as we strive to make abortion access a
reality for all of us. As the far right funds and organizes their
supporters to spread disinformation online, we must out-organize them by
sharing the truth about reproductive rights.

disinformation about abortion on social media and be a part of an exciting
Women's March campaign to spread awareness on abortion access.
You’ll join a cohort of volunteers who will work together in 2021 to
engage in conversations on the topic of abortion online.

During this intensive, hands-on training, you’ll learn about the common
myths surrounding abortion that get circulated online and get practice
responding in real time. You’ll also have access to a thriving community
of hundreds of Digital Defenders with whom you can continue learning,
practicing, and growing together.
We won’t be truly free until we can make decisions about our own bodies,
lives, reproductive care, and futures. [ [link removed] ]Become a part of the Abortion
Defenders team today and help change the conversation.
Hope to see you at the training!
