When I started working to change our gun laws, I wasn't sure what to expect.

Sure, I knew friends would help launch our effort, but my biggest fear at the time was that a lack of grassroots support would make people think the public wasn't on our side in the fight to change our gun laws.

Since then millions of people have signed up to join our fight -- Democrats, Republicans and Independents -- all calling out with one voice that ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! It is time to make our communities safer from gun violence.

But now, with the Biden administration set to take office, I have the same fear -- that a lack of grassroots support for our effort will make the new administration and the new Congress think our enthusiasm has waned.

We have just a few hours until our 72-Hour Fundraising Drive ends at midnight. And with time running out, I am have to ask:

Can you make a $3 contribution before midnight tonight to send an unmistakable message that you want action to make our communities safer from gun violence?

It's not about how much money we raise before midnight tonight, but how many people chip in to power our effort. We'll put each donation to work in the fight to change our gun laws.
