John,

The lies of these 147 Republican members of Congress caused 6 Americans to die.

Their lies helped fuel a deadly insurrection. They stood in Congress both before and AFTER the deadly attack on the Capitol and spread lies of voter fraud knowingly and without regard for our Democracy.

Some of these same Republicans denounced the violence, but would not call it what it was: an insurrection, an attempted coup. They downplayed it as deplorable, but nothing more than a protest that got out of control.

This is unacceptable.

Any member of Congress that cannot admit that what happened was an insurrection is providing cover to those who wish to do our democratic government harm. These Members of Congress continue to encourage more violence with their excuses.

Members that continue to defend the violent terrorist attack that took place in our nation’s capital must be held accountable and expelled from office.

Section 3 of the 14th Amendment states that "No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress... or hold any office under the United States or any State who... shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against [the Constitution]."

By invoking the 14th amendment, we can remove any Members of Congress that provides aid and comfort to the enemies of America that attacked our Capitol.

Add your name now to expel any member of Congress who will not denounce the violent insurrection at the capitol.

The campaign to expel any Member of Congress that will not denounce the violent insurrection is growing.

In a letter to her caucus, Speaker Nancy Pelosi said she will support a discussion on invoking the 14th amendment and Democratic Senator Sherrod Brown has called for Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley to be expelled.

All 147 Republicans must be willing to condemn the violent insurrection that took place.

This was not a rally that got out of control. This was not a protest that turned violent unexpectedly. These people came to the Capitol straight from a Trump rally with the expressed goal to stop the certification and overturn the election.

These people brought zip ties, semi-automatic weapons, Molotov cocktails, and pipe bombs. They brought nooses and hunted through the Capitol building shouting “where’s Nancy.” They came within inches of breaching the Senate chamber before officers were able to get it secured.

They intended to do harm and many of them will now go to jail.

But if we don’t act, the terrorists will still have enablers and supporters selling their message on the floor of Congress. If we don’t expel Members of Congress who supported an attempted coup, then it’s only a matter of time before the next attack.

Add your name now to our petition demanding any member of Congress that does not denounce the violent insurrection at the capitol must be expelled.

At least 6 people are dead. The vicious mob murdered two Capitol police officers. Others were chased, dragged, beaten, or crushed with more than 4 dozen officers sustaining injuries.

Last Wednesday, a violent mob of insurrectionists attempted a coup in our nation’s Capitol. Members of Congress who won’t denounce it as a violent insurrection are aiding and abetting those who want to bring down our country and destroy our democracy -- and every single one of them must be expelled.

Thank you for adding your name. Every leader in Washington needs to know America is watching.
