Since this is my first piece of legislation, I’m going to need as much support as possible as we continue to get as many citizen and representative co-sponsors. Can I count on you to contribute whatever you can afford to help us keep up the necessary work of spreading the word and building support?

Cori Bush for Congress

John, today, I introduced my first resolution on the House floor calling for the expulsion of the Republican members of Congress who attempted to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election and incited the white supremacist attempted coup.

We have to hold them accountable and force them to face the consequences for their actions. They have violated their Oath of Office and, per Section 3 of the 14th Amendment — they must be expelled.

Since this is my first piece of legislation, I’m going to need as much support as possible as we continue to get as many citizen and representative co-sponsors. Can I count on you to contribute whatever you can afford to help us keep up the necessary work of spreading the word and building support?

What we do in the wake of this attack is critical to how we heal as a country. We cannot have unity in Congress without accountability for the Republican members of Congress who incited this violence by attempting to overturn the election.

Here’s the thing: this won’t be an easy job — but with your help I know we can make meaningful change to prevent the spread of this hate by some GOP congressional leaders.

The more support we have, the more support we’ll be able to build so we can hold these Republican members of Congress accountable. Please consider making a contribution today.

In solidarity,

Cori Bush
