It’s January 11, 2021 which means that California’s 2021-2022 Legislative Session has officially convened; the newly elected legislators were sworn in last month, but the real work (or damage) begins today. It remains to be seen, however, how all this will play out – the Capitol remains closed to the public and those interested in meeting with members of the Senate or the Assembly – whether an official lobbyist or not – are prohibited from doing so. According to both legislators and their staff, they have no clue what session will look like. Members have been encouraged to put a limit on how many bills they introduce, but let’s be real – most can’t help themselves from having their name on a bill, so we shall see. In spite of the obstacles put in place to keep us on the outside, be assured we will do all we can to stay up to speed on any new anti-gun bills introduced. Stay tuned – these are some crazy days ahead.
Without question, most eyes are on what is happening in Washington DC – the gravest concern we should all have is how the Left is working 24-7 to annihilate the 1st Amendment. Make no mistake, whether it’s Facebook, Twitter, Amazon or Google – the bans, gagging and silencing are immensely dangerous for all Americans.
