Team,

Last week, our nation faced a crisis when President Trump incited a violent insurrection that threatened the US Capitol and put me, police, my colleagues, and hundreds of staff in grave danger. Since then, supporters from across the 11th District and around the nation have checked in with me and my staff, sent heartfelt and hopeful messages, and made it clear we will not be deterred in our fight for a brighter future for ALL Americans.

So, I want to thank you personally. In times like these, your support means more to me, and to my entire staff, than you could know.

Today, I'm incredibly proud to be a Democrat, incredibly proud to be a member of the House of Representatives, and incredibly proud to represent YOU, and all of Team Connolly. And I want you to know I'm determined to keep fighting for accountability and progress -- I will not be deterred and I hope you won't either. Together, we will continue to stand up for the best of what American can be and call out it's worst, and we will recover.
