HUW MERRIMAN MP NEWSLETTER
Covid-19 Update

This newsletter focusses on the local vaccine roll-out. I work closely with the Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust (who are leading the roll-out of our vaccination programme). I have also been in discussions with the Vaccines Minister about the central roll-out. My latest call was at 3pm Monday 11 Jan hence this newsletter is sent to you with same-day information. This will soon be out of date so please refer to my website and a Vaccination section which will be regularly updated.

I wish you all well and will be doing my best to help the vaccination programme succeed and our area unlocked.

Date of Restriction Review

The Prime Minister has confirmed that the lockdown will be reviewed every 2 weeks.
Given that the lockdown rules became law on 6th January, the first review will come on 20th January and every 2 weeks after that until we have rolled out our vaccination programme and the lockdown is no longer deemed necessary.
