The U.S. government -- through the Export-Import Bank -- is considering
supporting the Hokchi block oil and gas production project in Mexico. Take action now to stop financing this dirty project.

Last year alone, Ex-Im provided over $5 billion to oil, gas and coal projects in
Mozambique, Argentina, and other countries around the world. Now, it could spend
millions -- or even billions -- on this project in Mexico.

Fossil fuel projects harm local communities and worsen the climate crisis.

continuing to finance this dirty project and Big Polluters.

That is the equivalent pollution of almost one million miles driven in a car.

Projects in this area also have a history of deadly accidents. Similar off-shore projects have resulted in explosions and fires that put
workers at risk of injury and even death.

Additionally, workers at these types of oil and gas projects often have to live
and work in very close proximities. These conditions put workers at high risk of
catching and potentially dying from COVID-19 -- all to increase the fossil fuel
industry’s profits. We need your help to stop Big Oil from harming people and
the planet.

polluting and potentially deadly fossil fuel projects. But we need your help to
