At noon today, I will be sworn in for my third term to serve my constituents in the Arizona State Senate.

Opening Day is always a humbling experience. Ever since I was first sworn in back in 2017, I am reminded of the sacred honor and privilege of representing the community that I grew up in.

This year will be different, of course. But the events of last week remind me that the oath I take, to support and defend both the Constitution of the United States and the state of Arizona, has never been more important. 

I love my job. As our legislature convenes for another term, there are many ways you can follow our work.
