Republican Sen. Josh Hawley played a large role in instigating the attack on the Capitol on Wednesday, and stood by his objection to the results of the presidential election even after Congress reconvened.
We can think of nothing more despicable -- and many others agree. Simon & Schuster recently cancelled his book deal, and a former Republican senator called supporting Hawley “the worst mistake I ever made in my life.”
But we think that Hawley deserves to lose more than just book deals and allies. We think he’s unfit to hold power at all -- and so do the many Democrats in Congress calling for his removal. That’s why we’re asking you now:
