Vice President Joe Biden just put forth his plan to address “the climate emergency” facing our country:
If elected, Biden is promising that his plan would transition us to a 100% clean energy economy in the next three decades.
We want to hear from you today: Do you support Biden’s call for a “Clean Energy Revolution?”
From Day One, a Biden Administration would propose $1.7 trillion in investments toward renewable energy technology like electric vehicle infrastructure and in renewable energy itself in wind, solar, nuclear, and hydropower.
How would he pay for it?
Great question -- Biden’s plan would roll back the Trump-era billionaire tax cuts as well as shift fossil fuel subsidies to American-based renewable energy producers and manufacturers.
Additionally, it would comply with the timeline put forth by the Paris Climate Agreement and ensure the United States is leading the global effort to address what he coins the “climate emergency.”
This is a bold plan with an aggressive timeline. Which is why we want your thoughts on it: Do you support Joe Biden’s “Clean Energy Revolution?”
Thank you,
