Trump DOJ Follows CAIR Lead, Sues Michigan City for Denying Islamic Center Permit

Following the lead of a terrorist front group, the Department of Justice (DOJ) is suing a Michigan suburb for rejecting a Muslim group’s zoning request to construct an Islamic center within city limits. The feds took legal action at the request of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a co-conspirator in a federal terror-finance case involving the Hamas front group Holy Land Foundation (read more in a Judicial Watch special report on Muslim charities).

In March 2018, based upon the information contained in the DOJ communication and other information, the Intelligence Committee produced a 150-page report, the summary of which states: “We have found no evidence of collusion, coordination, or conspiracy between the Trump campaign and the Russians.” In an interview after reviewing the electronic communication, Nunes said, “We now know there was no official intelligence used to start this investigation.”

The Justice Department turned over the document last Friday at 5:27 pm in a Judicial Watch February, 2019 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit filed after the Justice Department and FBI failed to respond to September 2, 2018 FOIA requests for documents about any FBI/DOJ discussions regarding the 25th Amendment and plans to secretly record President Trump in the Oval Office (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of Justice (No. 1:19-cv-00388).
