Wednesday's deadly attack on the U.S. Capitol was incited by President Donald Trump, a man who has enabled far-right extremists at every turn.

TELL YOUR MEMBER OF CONGRESS: REMOVE TRUMP FROM OFFICE

John–

Let's be clear: what happened on Wednesday was a deadly attempted coup fueled by the President of the United States and those who have perpetuated the lie of a stolen election.

That's why we are calling on Vice President Mike Pence and the Cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment and remove President Trump from office. If they do not, Congress must impeach President Trump immediately.

Tell your Member of Congress: Remove President Trump from office immediately.

Wednesday's deadly events were fed by President Trump and a group of Republicans who would rather lie to the American people than accept the fact that we turned out in the millions to elect Joe Biden as the next President of the United States. They do not care about democracy or our country. They only care about themselves, something which they have made abundantly clear.

John, President Trump must be held accountable for inciting this deadly violence against the United States. Tell your Member of Congress: Remove President Trump from office immediately.

This week's events were far from an isolated incident—President Trump has long encouraged the extreme right and has been aided and abetted by the conspiratorial fear-mongering of the NRA. Over the course of his presidency, he has called white supremacists "very fine people," and has egged on violent extremists from the debate stage by telling them to "stand back and stand by." On Wednesday, rather than condemn their actions, he told the people who attacked the Capitol that he loved them. In other words, he is not just encouraging these attacks on our country—he's ordering them. And the result, invariably, is violence. There may only be 11 days left in his term, but the risk he poses is too high to allow him to remain in power. Tell your Member of Congress: Remove President Trump from office immediately.

But we do know this one thing for certain: the efforts by President Trump and his allies to overturn democracy will fail.

Congress certified the results of the November election, affirming that President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris will be sworn into office on January 20, and that the democratic transfer of power that has defined our country's history will continue.

We agree with Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, and the growing chorus of Democratic and Republican officials who believe President Trump should be removed from power as soon as possible, through invoking the 25th Amendment or impeachment.

We are with you today and every day to do everything we can to protect our democracy. And today, that starts with demanding the removal of President Trump from office.

Tell your Member of Congress: Remove President Trump from office immediately.

Thank you for being a part of this movement. Our democracy will prevail.
