We hoped to spend this week celebrating our victory in Georgia (especially after removing Mitch McConnell as Majority Leader), but it was marked instead by one of the lowest points in our nation’s history:
For the first time since 1814, the US Capitol Building was breached. This time, it was by right-wing insurrectionists -- incited by our own President.
We need to take tangible action and demand accountability from those involved, starting at the very top:
Will you add your name calling on President Trump to be removed from office immediately? If Vice President Pence refuses to invoke the 25th Amendment, Congress must impeach Trump NOW.
If there is no accountability for Trump or any of his enablers, we can expect this incident to set the tone for the future -- a dangerous, unacceptable precedent.

There’s still hope that we can set the country on a path towards healing, but only if we all come together and demand that our elected leaders, on both sides of the aisle, hold Trump accountable.
