I'm sure everyone reading this has been watching events play out in real-time wondering what in the world has happened to the country we love.
My first inclination was to write a harshly worded rant about Big Tech, the media, and the people who are cheering on this outrageous censorship. Then I thought about it and realized that our site is about helping people, and we can't help people if we get deplatformed, demonetized, or shut down.
So you'll find a bit of that rant tucked into the middle of an article about OpSec.
Over the next few months, you may notice that my articles contain more than one subject. Folks in the know, like you who read my newsletters, will understand why I am doing it this way. It is the best method I can come up with to evade censorship and
stay in business. It has a very "Cold War" feeling to it, that I am required to do things covertly, but as I always say when discussing survival, the first step is understanding the situation you're in and working within the confines of that.
Keeping our preparedness efforts private has always been essential, and during this time of outrageous censorship, blatant propaganda, and cancel culture, keeping our views private might be beneficial too.
Sure, we have "freedom of speech." But we do NOT have freedom from the repercussions of it, and you have to strongly consider if you're willing to paint a target on your family just so you can let everyone know your opinions.
Only you can make that decision, but here's some information on OpSec that may help.
What are your thoughts about the massive, high-level censorship? What are your suggestions for flying under the radar? Let’s discuss it (civilly, please) in the comments.
When I went to Bosnia I saw no buildings unscathed, even those in rural areas. The photos I took show more about genocide than I could write in a million words.
