Hi friend,

147 Republican members of the House and Senate, it seems, woke up in 2021 without a backbone and decided to sign on to Donald Trump's petulant bid to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election. They did this even after Trump's supporters attempted to lead a deadly insurrection, encouraged by the very president they were defending.

We're incensed that such a large segment of the GOP would work so hard to subvert our democracy, even after witnessing a coup attempt to break into the very halls of government. Denouncing the whole system, millions of votes, the work of elections officials across the country, just because your candidate didn't come out on top? That's called authoritarianism, and it has to stop right here and right now.

But if there's one upside here, it's this: Now these Republicans have nowhere to hide. And when their elections roll around, it's fair to say Democrats won't hold back on Ted Cruz, Josh Hawley, Kevin McCarthy, Roger Marshall, or any of the rest of them.

We need to make sure no one forgets their names, ever.
