The COVID-19 pandemic has placed unprecedented strain on the American people, including here in New Orleans. Many of our city's residents are struggling to keep their homes as many jobs have disappeared. Donate now to help them keep their homes.
Fortunately, there's currently a federal moratorium on evictions issued by the CDC. Still, overdue rent is still piling up, and we will likely face a landslide of evictions when the moratorium expires on January 31. We need all the resources we can get to prepare for the end of the month.
The Mayor's Fund has already helped many New Orleanians through the generous donations of members of our community. However, the need greatly outpaces the resources. We need your help.
