John, enough is enough.
President Trump’s words and actions have threatened the public safety of all Americans and deeply harmed our country. This week’s attack on the U.S. Capitol was a product of his years of lies, hate, and incitement of violence and extremism. We cannot let this harm continue a moment longer.

Donald Trump has shown us time and again that he will stop at nothing to incite unrest and violence. There’s no doubt that the bloodshed incited by Trump could have been far worse if it weren’t for Washington, D.C.’s, common-sense gun laws. Please, join our demand for Vice President Pence and the Cabinet to prioritize public safety and invoke the 25th Amendment now.
It is deeply unfortunate and a sad state of affairs for America and our democracy that it has come to this. But we must put Americans' lives and safety first. Thank you for fighting with us. Together, we can put our country on a path to prevent violence and save lives.

Don’t Forget: This Week, We Ousted Mitch McConnell
This week, Brady Campaign-endorsed candidates Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock won their elections to the U.S. Senate, securing a gun violence prevention majority in the U.S. Senate. In 2021, we know that Senator-elects Warnock and Ossoff will work to keep our communities safe by prioritizing common-sense gun reforms like expanding Brady Background Checks, passing extreme risk laws, and more.
We look forward to taking action, not sides, with gun violence prevention majorities in the U.S. House, Senate, and White House. Join us in celebrating this victory by sending a tweet to Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock!
