The attack on our nation's Capitol disturbed me to my core.

While the world watched in horror as mobs plundered our Capitol, CNN reported Donald Trump watched with enthusiasm.

Then, just hours later, Trump's GOP enablers like Devin Nunes and Kevin McCarthy proceeded to vote to invalidate electoral college votes and AGAINST the will of the people.

This coup only failed because our American institutions are stronger than he is.

For the sake of our future, the American people must hold Trump accountable for his treason.

If we don't, there's no telling what irreversible damage he and his Republican allies will do to our country. We as a nation must band together.
