Governor DeWine Signs Bills Into Law


(COLUMBUS, Ohio)Ohio Governor Mike DeWine signed the following bills into law yesterday.

House Bill 1 [ [link removed] ], sponsored by Representatives Phil Plummer and Paula Hicks-Hudson, modifies intervention in lieu of conviction/sealing requirements.

House Bill 210 [ [link removed] ], sponsored by Representative Sara Carruthers, requires the screening of prospective employer for tuberculosis in child care settings.

House Bill 388 [ [link removed] ], sponsored by Representative Adam Holmes, addresses out-of-network health care.

House Bill 409 [ [link removed] ], sponsored by Representative Kyle Koehler, modifies attendance and participation standards at computer-based community schools

House Bill 442 [ [link removed] ], sponsored by Representatives Bill Roemer and Thomas West, modifies certified public accountant qualifications.

House Bill 450 [ [link removed] ], sponsored by Representative Jason Stephens, regards transition of duties of fiscal officers and treasurers.

House Bill 674 [ [link removed] ], sponsored by Representative Brett Hudson Hillyer, revises liquor laws.

Senate Bill 9 [ [link removed] ], sponsored by Senator Matt Huffman, releases claim information to group health plan policyholders.
