The Biden-Harris victory in November and now the two Georgia Senate flips give us a chance to put climate and clean energy action at the top of the political agenda.

As we look ahead to the first 100 days of the new administration, we’re thrilled to co-sponsor a live online town hall discussion with the Chair of the House Select Committee on the Climate Crisis, Representative Kathy Castor (D-FL).

And you’re invited. Please RSVP for this exciting event and join the conversation about climate action priorities and political strategies.

The event will stream live on Wednesday, January 13th at 4:00 pm ET. When you sign up, you’ll get notifications to help remind you to join the conversation.

Since 2007, Rep. Castor has represented a diverse and rapidly growing district in the Tampa - St. Petersburg area. She has been a national leader on clean energy, environmental justice, coastal protection and addressing the climate crisis.

As someone who represents a coastal area particularly vulnerable to sea level rise, coastal flooding, massive tropical storms and a changing climate – along with the economic costs associated with these threats – Rep. Castor knows firsthand the need for action.

In 2020, the Select Committee she chairs released an ambitious and comprehensive plan for broad-based climate and clean energy action that would unleash innovation, slash America’s climate pollution and accelerate our transition to a clean energy future.

No one is better positioned to understand what’s needed and what’s possible in the new year when it comes to climate action.

We hope you can join the conversation and thanks for your activism and support.

Best wishes for a new year and new opportunities,

Sam Parry
