John,

On Wednesday, January 6th, our joy at our dual victories in Georgia was hijacked by the most audacious attack on our democracy in modern history.

To be clear: the siege of our nation's Capitol was an act of terror, and President Trump has proven himself unfit for office.

As we write to you, Speaker Pelosi and our Democratic House Majority are moving forward with plans to impeach Trump for his egregious assault on our Constitution.

We cannot forget that even after the violent mob ransacked our Capitol, 147 Republican members of Congress -- including 139 House Republicans -- still voted to overturn the will of the people.

Holding the House has never been more important. It is our means to hold Trump and his ilk accountable; it is the next battleground on which democracy will face Trumpism.

Here's our commitment to you: we're going to do everything in our power to hold the House, hold Trump's enablers accountable, and deliver more Democratic victories like the ones we saw in Georgia.

As the House moves to introduce articles of impeachment on Monday, we ask you to contact your representatives and implore them to seek justice for the American people.

And if you know of House members doing exceptional work during this time of crisis, reply to this email and tell us who they are. We'll be working to direct grassroots donations to the Congresspeople rising to the moment, and we want your input.

Together,
Hold the House
