Emgage National Board Membership Application


 

Emgage Foundation Inc, a 501 c(3) leading civic organization for Muslim Americans is seeking qualified individuals to join our National Board of Directors. We are looking for motivated, diverse, and community-oriented leaders who seek to share their talent and experiences with us and the broader Muslim American community.

We are seeking community advocates like you!

Our Board selection will be guided to ensure representation that reflects the diversity of our community and country. The process will be informed by best practices for non-profits and input by award winning experts in the field. Here are the areas of emphasis for both diversity and skill sets that we are looking for:

  • Gender, ethnic, racial, and religious diversity
  • Community relations and standing
  • Nonprofit board and/or civic engagement experience
  • Fundraising and development experience
  • Media experience and relationships
  • Business, or management experience

Emgage is a 501c(3) that implements an ecosystem of programs to develop the capacity of the Muslim voter to ensure that our narrative is part of the American fabric. Our programs include civic educational events such as issue forums and town halls, voter initiatives including Get Out The Vote (GOTV), and specific programs for the youth in order to mentor and support the next generation of leaders.
