With Trump poised to leave the White House in less than two weeks, NIAC is proud to have worked with over 50 national security and foreign policy experts to send a letter to President-elect Joe Biden urging a quick return to the Iran nuclear deal.
The letter further calls on the President-elect to push back on hawkish voices who oppose a speedy return to the nuclear accord, while also emphasizing the need to immediately ease sanctions that will help Iran address the devastating COVID-19 pandemic alongside a return to the deal.
The letter includes signatories such as Ambassadors James Dobbins and Thomas Pickering, leading political scientists Robert Jervis and Stephen Walt, and prominent analysts Ellie Geranmayeh and Dina Esfandiary.
