A Summit for African American Laity and Clergy
The St. Louis Caucus of Black Methodist for Church Renewal has identified that leadership among both laity and clergy is a key need in churches. The caucus took action to apply for a grant to come alongside the annual conference to identify and develop more leaders; not just deacons and elders, but leadership at every level of the church - local, district and general.
