Working through all the feelings is hard. But, you simply have to feel them. Simply pushing them away is just kicking the old can down the road. It is okay if you lost hope there for a moment. It's completely acceptable that sadness, being scared or anger has been your thing on and off. You're not broken for not being able to bring that smile all the time, every day, for everyone. You're not. What is important, though, is that deep inside, your soul does crave joy. Try not to forget that even when things seem too heavy that there is a place in you that can bring a smile, love, tenderness and hope because it is connected to everything good in the Cosmos.
