Hello,

On Wednesday we watched in collective horror as domestic terrorists carried out an attack on our Capitol in an assault that resulted in multiple deaths.

The riots may be over for now, but the strength of our democracy will continue to be tested and will be until Congress acts to protect our country from this clear threat to our national security.

That’s why more than 100 Members of Congress representing every corner of our country are calling on the House and Senate to remove Donald Trump from office before he has a chance to cause our nation any further harm. The worst thing Congress can do now is to act normal, or to give up trying to hold Donald Trump accountable. We cannot ignore the insurrection yesterday, the four people who died, and the national humiliation we suffered.

That’s why I’m supporting all efforts to remove Donald Trump from office and why I hope you’ll join me and the thousands of VoteVets members who have already joined the call for his removal. He’s delusional, angry, and still in power. Something must be done, fast.

As the largest group of veterans fighting for veterans and their families I don’t have to detail all the ways Donald Trump has failed to uphold his oath to you — it’s the very same oath all of us took when we swore to defend our country against all threats foreign and domestic.
