This week, Trump incited an insurrection against the United States. He called white nationalists to Washington, D.C. to storm the U.S. Capitol and block Congress from confirming 2020’s presidential election results—which they did.

This attack was instigated by this impeached president in an attempt to hold onto power and subvert our democracy. And over 100 GOP members of the House and Senate joined Trump in his attempted coup―voting to block certification of President-elect Joe Biden’s Electoral College victory.

We cannot allow the Republican politicians who stoked this violence to evade responsibility. They’ve all violated their oath of office and must face consequences.

Please add your name now to demand the U.S. Congress reconvene and that we impeach Trump, expel the seditious members of Congress, and investigate the failed security response.

Wednesday's attack, sadly, should come as no surprise. Since even before Donald Trump announced his run for president in 2015, he’s been tapping into and building a movement of hate and white supremacy.

We cannot let white nationalists subvert the will of the people through intimidation and violence, including at the U.S. Capitol. We cannot let Trump remain in office one day longer.

Here are our demands:

1. Support the pending Articles of Impeachment against Trump sponsored by me, Rep. Ilhan Omar, Rep. Ayanna Pressley, and others.
2. Support Rep. Cori Bush's resolution to expel Members of Congress who opposed the certification of lawful election results.
3. Demand a full investigation into the security response on January 6th, which failed to prevent white nationalist insurrectionists from entering the Capitol and terrorizing the people inside, and stood in stark contrast to the brutal treatment of racial justice and Black Lives Matter protesters earlier this year.
