The political establishment is determined to crush conservatives everywhere and erase the values that make America great. And sadly, very few people in Washington are willing to fight back.

That's what makes Senator Josh Hawley's bold and principled leadership so important.

The junior senator from Missouri's decision to object to the election results showed tremendous courage. It brought him instant scorn from the media and even a public rebuke from his own Senate leader.

Even worse, Senator Hawley's decision to give voice to the concerns held by millions of Americans brought protestors to his own home to harass his wife and newborn child.

And now Simon & Schuster, the publisher of his upcoming book, has decided to cancel his contract because he dared to stand up for liberty and fight for election integrity.

It's a "direct assault on the First Amendment," said Hawley. "This is the Left looking to cancel everyone they don't approve of. I will fight this cancel culture with everything I have."

He's right to fight it, and conservatives should stand shoulder-to-shoulder with him in defending our cherished values.
