Happy New Year! We hope you had a restful break and that this newsletter finds you well. Our team are re-energised after the time away and ready to fight for equality.

The impact of coronavirus is frightening and the increased restrictions are hitting us all hard. In particular our polling released today ([link removed][UNIQID]) showed school closures will be difficult for mothers who often take on a large proportion of caring responsibilities. Our #MakeWomenVisible campaign is looking at the impact of this lockdown on women and how we can ensure that we create a more equal future for everyone - and that this pandemic doesn't turn back the clock on gender equality. Please stay tuned for how you can support our campaigning.

Unlimited Potential

Did you attend the launch of our latest report: Unlimited Potential? The report explained the impact of stereotypes on children and explored ways in which those can be tackled at key developmental points. To help with this, we have also developed a timeline to showcase these milestones. You can check out the report and timeline on our website.

We also want to say thank you to local group and members who audited 141 shops to help us get a better understanding of gender stereotyping on our high streets across the UK.

Sexual Harassment in the Workplace

We are working with women's organisations from across the four nations of the UK on a project to tackle sexual harassment in the workplace. This week we launched our call for evidence: we want to hear from women who have experienced workplace sexual harassment about how their employer responded and what they thought about this response.

The evidence will be used to inform our understanding of what works in tackling workplace sexual harassment and to develop resources for employers that give them the tools and skills needed to combat sexual harassment in their workplace. If this applies to you and you are able to participate please click the button below to take the survey.

Ethnicity Pay Gap Reporting

We are supporting #EthnicityPayGapDay today and the campaign for ethnicity pay gap reporting. We believe mandatory reporting is vital to help close the ethnicity pay gap.

You can find out more about the campaign here. ([link removed][UNIQID])
