2020 has been challenging like no other year. Before we leave it behind, please do take a look at what your support has helped achieve.

  • Together we won financial support for bereaved children and secured £63 million for local welfare assistance in England. 
  • We produced video resources for schools in Scotland on cutting cost barriers for children, and digital resources on debt advice for everyone.
  • We got more support for parents in Wales and saved free travel for young people in London.

Of course many of the challenges families face have continued into 2021.

With your ongoing support, we are looking to the future with hope and ambition. We can come out of this pandemic with a shared vision of how our social security system can and should support us all through difficult times. And we can build support for a strategy that ends child poverty once and for all, so that all children can enjoy a childhood free of financial hardship and have an equal chance in life to reach their full potential.
